We went out for seafood last night (oysters and gumbo), and I captured a few images between bites.

I’m really excited about my new Miata MX-5! It’s a top-down dream that handles like a Formula One racer. I look forward to some enthralling driving adventures.

Hi Shaun–I love these images. I have to keep going back to the cloud shot. Amazing!
This was definitely a case of right place, right time, right camera. That storm front was amazing. Thanks, Linda!

I captured this image on horseback as we were crossing a stream in the Andrew Molera State Park near Big Sur, California. The ride took us through mountain passes, across beautiful meadows, on the edge of steep ravines, and down along a magnificent secluded beach.

Here’s a portrait made with my new Rosco gels. I chose a blue gel for the rear strobe and shot it through horizontal wood blinds from the outside.

I tell my wife that if you want to provide instant cool to a movie just add motorcycles and helicopters. No helos in this post, but we do have some really cool motorcycles. I shot these AMA and CSS racers running practice laps at the JenningsGP circuit in North Florida. I love motorcycle roadracing; it’s a great sport that demands supreme skill and courage. With serious lean angles and triple-digit speeds, it’s one of the ultimate tests of man and machine. No roll cages for these guys!
I like getting the opportunity to shoot for a variety of clients and subjects. I think it makes a well-rounded photographer with the experience to handle any situation. Want some killer bridal portraits on a speeding motorcycle? No problem.

Taylor, Geoff, and Paulie would be really grateful for these shots! I’m not sure about Paulie, but Tay and Geoff are doing really well so far this season. They’re both in AMA Pro. In the last race at Fontana last weekend Geoff finished 3rd and Taylor was 9th.
Great shots!
Thanks, Kendrick. Good to hear from you! Hope you’re doing well. Regarding Paulie, I heard that he had a great finish at Daytona–second place in ASRA Superbike.
Mike and Stacey were married in sunny Gainesville, Florida at the Sweetwater Branch Inn, a beautiful bed and breakfast complex featuring two restored Victorian homes, a lovely garden, and Koi pond. The November weather was perfect. I enjoyed documenting their story and offer them best wishes on their life’s journey together!
