A magificient sunset backdrop combined with off-camera location lighting make for a classic beach portrait on Panama City Beach, Florida.  And I’m a bit partial to the subject—my gorgeous wife.

This doggie didn’t quite know what to think of his first beach experience.

Here’s a portrait made with my new Rosco gels.  I chose a blue gel for the rear strobe and shot it through horizontal wood blinds from the outside.

I took on the challenge of a different genre for a day to provide portfolio images for a national model competition. I was working for Lacy who is a full-time university student, swimsuit model, and aspiring country singer being courted by a major recording label in LA. I’m sure that her amazing vocal talent, tenacious work ethic, and intense determination will set Nashville on fire some day soon.
