They just don’t make things the way they used to, unless you’re talking about Leather Craftsmen wedding albums. I’m a big fan of LC. I love their quality, the look and construction of their books, and the classic, beautiful selection of cover materials. Based in New York State, LC uses the same high quality materials and handmade methods as they did in 1945. And their knowledgeable staff are excellent service partners. These are classic, custom albums, handmade with your photographs to serve as enduring archival heirlooms. I’m proud to offer these fine products to my clients.
True photographic prints flushmounted in the album. Lay-flat binding and small gutter ensure perfect viewing.

I’m pleased to announce that I was recently accepted into the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers and am honored to receive this recognition from my professional peers. There are currently only seven other ISPWP photographers located in the State of Florida.
The ISPWP judging panel evaluate the following empirical evidence: three complete weddings, client references, and peer photographer references. The candidate photographer must also meet a minimum experience requirement and have no complaints with the Better Business Bureau.
I’m glad to join the ISPWP family who are among the best wedding photographers worldwide and exhibit extraordinary talent and experience. I’m also proud to be associated with an organization whose staff and leadership reflect the highest standards of personal and professional integrity.
I pledge to uphold these values of photographic excellence and personal character for the society and my clients.
I caught this holiday shopping scene tonight when fetching my wife from the Pier Park outdoor mall. I love Christmas lights on palm trees!
After two weeks of rain we drove around all day with the Miata top down. It was in the 50’s all day, but we were toasty with the heater on.

January 25, 2010 - 12:28 am - I don't currently have a webpage.I worked for years for other photographers. like carrellgrigsby.com and have dune about six weddings on my own. From setting up, shooting, image creation to creation of a unique album that tells the story of the couples event filled day, is for me, the real joy! Thats what I want to continue to do and develop toward professionally. Just wanted to say your images are rich and beautiful! I will enjoy keeping up with your work. I am inspired! Thanks again Casssie white Photography

Local musicians honing their bluegrass chops. Look for them playing around town as Outlaws Express. Enjoy the slideshow.

November 19, 2009 - 1:05 pm - Nice work! The guy in the black hat looks like a cross between Kenny Rogers and Willie Nelson!
Here’s what the beach looked like on Halloween, staring across the foundation of a storm-wrecked condo.

We’re building a two-story villa at Laguna Beach about two miles from Carillon Beach—and just minutes from beautiful Rosemary, Seaside, and Grayton. I look forward to swimming in the beautiful lap pool and running/biking on the beach at least every other day.
One of the worker’s kids was doing all he could to keep from being bored.

Second floor starts.

I was along for the ride as the girls shopped vintage clothes on our way to the Jazz Fest.

The friendly shopkeeper, Joan.

Stroll down the short boardwalk of Oaks by the Bay Park, and you’re greeted by a view of St. Andrews Bay.

I took time off from business as a wedding photographer to attend the Destin Seafood Festival held this year at the Destin Harbor.
The drive from the west end of Panama City Beach was really quick with the relatively new four-lane blacktop and October traffic. It was only 20 minutes to Grayton Beach and another 20 to Destin.
Parking was an easy road-side drill, allowing a short walk to the festival. There was the usual arts and crafts and seafood; but for me, the major draw was Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. Joan played one very long set with songs ranging from the great Runaways tunes to her contemporary works, which are really good (you can listen to a few on her website).

I traveled to Gainesville, Florida, my birthplace and epicenter of the Gator Nation, to document Scott and Amanda’s wedding. I had a great time and enjoyed the opportunity to have fellowship with Amanda, Scott, and their guests. And I was honored to serve as their photographer and tell the story of their day.
Thanks to Ann Marie of Ladybird Salon; my good friend and talented fine artist, Jeff Dreisen, who agreed to assist and worked the lightstick with an expert eye and contributed his legendary wit and humor; Minister Bachmann for his hospitality; and UCGainesville staff persons like Ken working behind the scenes.
The photographs from the event are now online.
For viewing and ordering prints, please visit the GALLERY.
Then grab some popcorn or chocolate and enjoy viewing the WEDDING SLIDESHOW.
Below are a few frames from the event.
Cheers,
Shaun

I love to eat! And hearty Italian is one of my favorite. I had one of my best meals at Lupa in NYC, which is one of Mario Batali’s Italian restaurants.
I made some Lasagne the other day from a recipe in a Mario Batali cookbook. I even made the pasta dough myself, which was a first! I had fun doing it.

Cut the asparagus in half for baking

The Balsamella sauce. Absolutely mouth-watering.
